DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY ASSOCIATES OF A DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.63 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised of the following dealings by associates of a director of the Company.
Introduction
Maximus Corporation (Pty) Ltd ("Maximus"), an associate of Mr Jan van Niekerk, has become the
primary vehicle through which Mr van Niekerk, and his business partner, Mr Piet Viljoen, will be
holding their combined indirect exposure to Goldrush Participating Preference Shares ("GRSP").
Maximus has concluded a series of transactions to give effect to this.
Subsequent to these transactions, Mr van Niekerk's aggregate indirect interest in Maximus is
62.42% and his indirect economic exposure to GRSP is 11.62%.
Maximus now has direct and indirect exposure to 8 460 205 GRSP which represents 18.61% of
outstanding GRSP.
