RETIREMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Famous
Brands announces that Ms Emma Mashilwane has given notice to the Board that she intends
to retire at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Famous Brands expected to take place
on 23 July 2021 and will not be available for re-election as an independent non-executive
director.

She will further step down as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Chairman of the
Remuneration Committee.

The Board extends their sincere appreciation to Emma for her valuable contribution to the
Group and wishes her continued success with her future endeavours.
