BNPP PF SOUTH AFRICA REFINANCES BRIDGE FUNDING PROVIDED FOR EDCON STORE CARD
PORTOLFIO

BNPP PF South Africa wishes to advise noteholders that the bridge funding provided for the Edcon
Store Card acquisition, has been refinanced early, by issuing privately placed listed notes BPPF28,
BPPF29 and BPPF30 (the “Notes”), ahead of the contractual maturity of 3 February 2021. Two of the
Issuer’s largest commercial bank funders, Rand Merchant Bank (a division of FirstRand Bank Limited)
and The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited took up half of each of the Notes.

This transaction provides strong support to the Issuer’s liquidity plan in the medium term.
