Moody’s Investor Service (“Moody’s”) Rating Change

Following the downgrade on the South African government sovereign rating to Ba1 with a negative outlook,
Moody’s downgraded the long-term issuer ratings of Growthpoint Properties Limited to Ba1 with a negative
outlook from Baa3. Moody’s has also revised the long-term national scale issuer rating to Aa1.za from Aaa.za.
