SPECULATIVE GRADE DEBT SECURITIES IN TERMS OF THE JSE DEBT LISTING
REQUIREMENTS

Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on Stock
Exchange News Service (“SENS”) on 1 March 2017 whereby Moody's
Investors Services (“Moody’s) has on the 28th of February 2017,
downgraded the National Scale Rating of Real People to Caa2.za from
B3.za with the outlook recorded as negative. In respect of the
aforementioned SENS announcement, noteholders are advised that, in
accordance with section 6.5 of the Debt Listing Requirements the
bonds issued by Real People are considered to be of a speculative
nature and investors should seek independent professional advice
prior to investing in the debt securities of the Issuer.
