NOTICE OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY UBUBELE AND NINE SUBSIDIARIES


1.   Shareholders are referred to previous SENS announcements
     concerning the business rescue proceedings in Ububele and
     in nine of its subsidiaries (“the Ububele Subsidiaries”),
     namely:


     1.1. Yield Alfa Chemicals Proprietary Limited;
     1.2. Enviro Crop Protection Proprietary Limited;
     1.3. Yield Alfa Proprietary Limited;
     1.4. R T Chemicals Proprietary Limited;
     1.5. Yield Avello Proprietary Limited;
     1.6. Ububele Agri Proprietary Limited;
     1.7. Yield Chemical Group Proprietary Limited;
     1.8. Yield WTP Proprietary Limited; and
     1.9. Enviro Industries Proprietary Limited.


2.   In terms of section 146 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008
     (“the Act”), each holder of any issued security of a
     company is entitled to notice of each court proceeding
     relating to the business rescue.


3.   Shareholders are therefore advised that the business
     rescue practitioners (“BRPs”) appointed in respect of
     Ububele and the Ububele Subsidiaries intend to make
     application to the High Court of South Africa (Western
     Cape Division, Cape Town) for an order extending the time
     periods prescribed for the publication of a business
     rescue plan in terms of section 150(5) of the Act.

4.   The BRPs will also apply for an extension to the three-
     month time limit for business rescue proceedings as
     contemplated by section 132(3) of the Act.


5.   The circumstances necessitating this application will
     appear from the founding affidavits of the BRPs.


6.   The BRPs anticipate that the application will be filed on
     10 September 2014 and heard on 12 September 2014. Once
     the application has been filed, it will be made available
     on the website www.tinyurl.com/mazars-ububele.

7.   Copies of any order granted in this matter, as well as
     all notices and announcements relating to the business
