AMENDMENT TO DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE OML SHARE
INSTALMENT

Given that the OMLNII share instalment will expire on Monday, 15 October 2012, the dividend
amount payable for OLD MUTUAL PLC will be not applicable to the OMLNII share instalment as the
last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 19 October 2012. Therefore, no payment will be made in
this regard.
