The shareholders of Rainbow are advised that the Company expects its earnings per share ("EPS") for the year ended 29 June 2025 ("current period") to be between 62.02 cents (+206%) and 66.07 cents (+226%) when compared to the EPS of 20.25 cents for the year ended 30 June 2024 ("comparative period"). Headline earnings per share ("HEPS") for the current period is expected to be between 63.55 cents (+214%) and 67.60 cents (+234%) when compared to the HEPS of 20.26 cents for the comparative period. The expected improvement in EPS and HEPS relative to the comparative period can be mainly attributed to higher sales volumes, continued improvements in agricultural and operational performance, lower commodity input costs coupled with a reduction in expenses related to energy loadshedding and Avian Influenza. In addition, due to Rainbow's improved profitability and the recapitalisation of the Company prior to its unbundling, finance costs have reduced relative to the comparative period.
