LIFTING OF TRADING HALT

Shareholders are referred to the announcement issued by the JSE on 20 July 2020 in which the JSE
advised that it had declared a trading halt in terms of its trading rules in Europa Metals Limited (the
“Company”) shares. The JSE advised that it had halted trading in the Company’s shares in order to
assess the impact on the market of potential settlement issues arising from certain transactions in the
Company’s shares on Thursday, 16 July and Friday, 17 July 2020. The JSE also advised that the trading
halt would be lifted once the JSE had identified the parties that may be impacted by these settlement
issues and those parties had been advised accordingly.

The JSE has reached a point in the process undertaken in terms of its rules to deal with the settlement
issues arising from the relevant transactions in the Company’ shares at which it has been able to advise
the affected JSE member firms of the status of their transactions. The affected JSE member firms have
also been afforded the opportunity to take the necessary steps to ensure that all investors whose
holdings in the Company’s shares were affected by the settlement issues are aware of their positions
post the actions taken to date by the JSE.

The JSE has therefore lifted the trading halt in the Company’s shares with effect from the
commencement of trading on Friday, 24 July 2020.
