VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION OF TRADE                                                   
The directors of Best Cut wish to inform shareholders that a rule nisi has been 
granted against the Company in the Kwazulu-Natal High Court on Friday, 4        
December 2009, for the provisional liquidation of the Company. The directors are
considering their position in opposing this application.                        
In the interest of shareholders, the Board has accordingly requested the        
suspension of trading in Best Cut shares on the JSE Limited.                    
Shareholders will be kept appropriately informed.
