UPDATE ON CHANGES AT EXECUTIVE LEVEL

In compliance with the Debt Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited and further to the announcement
released on SENS on 12 March 2024, stakeholders and noteholders are advised that the board of
directors ("Board") have finalised the filling of key strategic positions at uMngeni-uThukela Water.

The Board wishes to confirm the appointment of the Chief Executive (CE), Mr. Sandile Psychology
Mkhize, with effect from 01 July 2024 to fulfil the role of CE on a permanent basis. As a result of the
above-mentioned change, Mr. Thamsanqa Mkhwanazi will be returning to his position as the Chief
Financial Officer of uMngeni-uThukela Water.

In addition, Mr. Sanele Mazibuko has been appointed into the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO)
effective from 01 June 2024.

The Board has full confidence in both Mr. Mkhize and Mr. Mazibuko and that they will be equal to the
task and steer the organisation to greater heights.

The following Top Structure (macro-structure) for the organisation is a lean structure in support of its
growth strategy:

The above appointments have been made in line with the Delegation of Authority of the Board and the
"Handbook for the appointment of persons to boards of state and state controlled institutions" as
applicable.
