UPDATE REGARDING JOHANNESBURG CBD EXPLOSION
The board of directors of TUHF Urban Finance (“Board”) wish to advise Noteholders that further to the
underground gas explosion that occurred in the Johannesburg CBD on Wednesday, 19 July 2023, no
damages were sustained to the four buildings in the TUHF Urban Finance portfolio located in the vicinity
in which the explosion occurred or to any of the other buildings in its portfolio.
Noteholders are further advised that all the buildings have up to date insurance cover which, inter alia,
insures the buildings against structural damage and loss of income. Notwithstanding the above, all
insurers have been notified timeously of the incident.
The Board confirms that TUHF Urban Finance has contacted all its clients and visited the buildings to
ensure that no serious injuries and/or loss of lives has been sustained.
TUHF Urban Finance will be monitoring the situation closely and Noteholders will be kept informed of any
further developments.
