CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND
NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN DEBT OFFICER
In compliance with paragraphs 6.39(a) and 7.3(g) of the Debt Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the board of directors of KOBWA (“the Board”) hereby notifies Noteholders that:
- Mr Juan de Wet has been appointed as an executive director and the Finance Director of KOBWA
pursuant to KOBWA’s policy dealing with the nomination of directors, replacing Ms Futhi Kunene as
Acting Finance Director, with effect from 1 May 2022.
Mr de Wet, BCompt Hons CTA (Honours in Accounting Sciences) and Associate General
Accountant (SA), is a seasoned finance professional, with more than 15 years’ experience serving
both public, private and NPO sector entities. These include tourism, economic development,
manufacturing, conservation, social development and agriculture.
- Further to the above, Mr de Wet has been appointed as Debt Officer of KOBWA, replacing Ms
Kunene, with effect from 1 June 2022.
The Board has considered and is satisfied with the competence, qualifications and experience of
the newly appointed Debt Officer.
