EARLY REDEMPTION OF IV045
SUBORDINATED UNSECURED CALLABLE NOTES (“IV045 NOTES”)

Investec Bank Limited (“the Issuer”) has exercised its option to early redeem all of the IV045
Notes in terms of item 54 of the Applicable Pricing Supplement, pursuant to the terms and
conditions set out in the Issuer’s Domestic Medium Term Note and Preference Share
Programme dated 4 September 2013, as follows:

Redemption Amount per Note                               The Notes will be redeemed at 100% of
                                                         the Nominal Amount adjusted by the
                                                         CPI adjustment on 31 January 2022,
                                                         provided that if the amount so adjusted
                                                         is less than 100% of the Nominal
                                                         Amount, the Optional Redemption
                                                         Amount will be 100% of the Nominal
                                                         Amount plus accrued but unpaid
                                                         interest (if any) to the date the Notes are
                                                         redeemed
