APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board
of directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Shameema Cassiem
(“Shameema”) has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the
Company with immediate effect.

Shameema obtained her B.Com Honours degree in 1991 and is a Chartered Accountant
(South Africa). She has over twenty years’ experience, primarily in the financial services
industry and, amongst others, served as chief financial officer of Thembeka Capital from 2006
to 2014. Over the years she has served on the boards of directors of listed and unlisted
companies, as well as on various audit committees.

The Board welcomes Shameema and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
