CHANGE IN DEBT SPONSOR

In accordance with section 2.6 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, debt holders are advised of
the termination of Absa Bank Limited as Debt Sponsor to City of Ekurhuleni with effect from 31 January
2020.

Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking, a division of Nedbank Limited, has been appointed as City of
Ekurhuleni’s Debt Sponsor with effect from 1 February 2020.
