CHANGE IN DEBT OFFICER
Bondholders are hereby advised that Mr Sinovuyo Mpakama has resigned as the debt officer of the
City with effect from 31 December 2023 due to his resignation as Group Head: Treasury of the City.
Further to the above, and with effect from 2 January 2024, Mr Mabandla Sibisi, who currently serves as
the Head of Funding and Investments, has been appointed as the interim debt officer of the City and as
Group Head: Treasury until 1 April 2024.
The Accounting Officer confirms that it has considered and is satisfied with the competence,
qualifications and experience of the newly appointed interim debt officer.

A process to identify a permanent debt officer has been initiated and an announcement will be published
