undertaken in accordance with a trading Plan entered into on 23 March 2016
SABMiller announced on 24 March 2016 that Mr Alan Clark, Chief Executive Officer and a
director of the Company, intended to exercise 100,000 outstanding share options prior to
the imminent expiry of those options and the start of the Company’s upcoming close period.
SABMiller plc was notified on 29 March 2016 that Mr Clark had on 29 March 2016
exercised options to purchase 100,000 SABMiller ordinary shares at an option price of
£10.61 per share.
51,352 ordinary shares in the Company were subsequently sold at a price of £42.15 per
share on 29 March 2016 in London with the proceeds being used to cover the exercise
price and to meet applicable income tax and social security taxes arising on the exercise,
and the balance of the shares were transferred by Mr Clark into The Clark Family Trust, a
person connected with him.
