DEALING IN SHARES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, details of the dealing in
securities by NWN Automotive Precision Engineering Pty Ltd ("Associate"), which is an associate of two
directors of Argent, namely TR Hendry and AF Litschka (collectively, "the Directors"), are disclosed in the
table below.

The Directors, together with Sue Cox, a retired ex-director of the Company, are shareholders of the Associate.
The Associate disposed of a number of Argent shares in an on market transaction, for the sole purpose of
reducing Sue's indirect shareholding in Argent.
