APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS

Unitholders of Fountainhead are referred to the announcement released by Redefine Properties
Limited (“Redefine”) on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 11 March 2013 and
are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of Fountainhead Property Trust
Management Limited, with immediate effect:

   -   Mr Marc Wainer has been appointed as an Executive Director. Mr Wainer has 39 years’
       experience in all aspects of real estate. He is the chief executive officer of Redefine and a
       director of Redefine International P.L.C (“Redefine International”) and Redefine International
       Limited as well as Cromwell Property Group. His primary focus is structuring corporate
       transactions, acquisitions and disposals, as well as being responsible for the day-to-day
       management of Redefine. After 12 years as a non-executive director of Hyprop, Mr Wainer
       will retire after Hyprop’s annual general meeting to be held on 27 June 2013 in order to avoid
       potential conflict of interest;

   -   Mr David Rice has been appointed as an Executive Director. Mr Rice has more than 20 years
       experience in the property industry. He was managing director of ApexHi Properties Limited
       (“ApexHi”) from 2006 until the merger of ApexHi, Redefine and Madison Property Fund
       Managers Holdings Limited in July 2009, when he was appointed as the director responsible
       for all aspects of the operations of the Redefine portfolio, including asset and property
       management. He also serves on Redefine’s executive committee; and

   -   Mr Andrew Konig has been appointed as an Executive Director from his position as a Non-
       Executive Director. Mr Konig is a qualified chartered accountant with 20 years of commercial
       and financial experience. Mr Konig is the financial director of Redefine and serves on
       Redefine’s executive committee. He is responsible for all aspects of finance and supports
       Redefine’s chief executive officer in corporate activities, regulatory compliance, investor
       relations, legal and human resource management, and he is also an alternate director to
       Marc Wainer on Redefine International’s board.

The above appointments have been approved by the Registrar of the Collective Investment
Schemes.
