Further to the appointments of KPMG Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. as joint independent
auditors for the 2023 financial year as ratified by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on
7 June 2023, and in compliance with paragraphs 3.75 and 6.28 of the JSE Limited’s Listings and Debt
Listings Requirements respectively, shareholders and noteholders are advised that Ernst & Young
Inc. has resigned as independent joint auditor to Sanlam Limited and Sanlam Life effective 30 June
2023.
