PUBLICATION OF 2018 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Noteholders are advised that Rand Water has published its 2018
Annual Financial Statements for the financial year ended 30 June
2018 (“the AFS”).
Rand Water’s audit reports were unqualified and there was
reclassification of individual assets classes of property, plant
and equipment.
This was in line with the first time adoption of IFRS during the
previous financial year, and the reclassification was in relation
with application of the cash flow standard with regards to the
investing activities presented on the face of the cash flow. The
details can be noted in note 36 of the 2018 Annual Financial
Statements.
