1.   Noteholders are advised, in accordance with the JSE Limited
     Debt Listings Requirements, that following the resignation of
     Investec Bank Limited (“Investec”) as Debt Sponsor, Umgeni
     Water has appointed Nedbank Corporate and Investment Bank
     Limited (“Nedbank”) as our replacement Debt Sponsor.

2.   Investec will be responsible as the outgoing debt sponsor until
     the 28 October 2017, which is 30 days from the effective date
     of their resignation.
