Update: Delay in availability of the Annual Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2023

Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the
JSE Limited on 29 January 2024, advising of the delay in availability of the Annual Financial Statements
for the year ended 30 June 2023 ("2023 AFS").

The City of Ekurhuleni would like to advise that the audit process has still not been completed and
therefore the 2023 AFS will not be available before 29 February 2024.

The draft 2023 AFS as submitted to the auditors, are available for downloading on Ekurhuleni's website
at:

https://www.ekurhuleni.gov.za/about-the-city/annual-reports/

Please refer to the 2022/23 Annual Report folder to download the draft 2023 AFS.

It is expected that the 2023 AFS will be released by 31 March 2024. A further announcement will be
released on the availability of the 2023 AFS.
