SECTION 122 NOTICE: DISPOSAL AND ACQUISITION OF SHARES
In accordance with Section 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
Labat hereby confirms that the Company has received a notice in terms of Section
122 of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“Companies Act”).
Discount Toys Cash and Carry (“Discount Toys”) has informed Labat that it has
disposed of a beneficial interest in the Company, such that the total beneficial
interest in the securities held by Discount Toys is now 0.04% of the total issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.
Mr Nassar Gutta (“Mr Gutta”) has informed Labat that it has acquired a beneficial
interest in the Company, such that the total beneficial interest in the securities held
by Mr Gutta is now 6.09% of the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
As required in terms of Section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Labat will file the
required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
