TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2022

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results for the previous corresponding period.

Nictus shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31 March 2022, the Group expects to report:

  -   earnings per share (“EPS”) of between 7.63 and 11.23 cents per share, which is between 38%
      and 58% lower than the previous corresponding period’s EPS of 18.00 cents per share; and
  -   headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of between 7.42 and 11.02 cents per share, which is
      between 39% and 59% lower than the previous corresponding period’s HEPS of 18.02 cents
      per share.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by Nictus’ independent auditor and is the responsibility of the directors of the Company.

The financial results for the year ended 31 March 2022 are expected to be published on SENS on or
about 30 June 2022.
