Denel wishes to announce the appointment of Ms Tshidi Makgabudi as an interim non-
executive board member and interim chairperson of the audit committee effective 25 June
2021 in order to fill the vacancy.

The appointment of Ms Makgabudi was made in terms of the handbook for the appointment
of persons to boards of state and state controlled institutions as issued by the South African
cabinet in January 2009. Denel is confident that through her skills and experience she will
provide the necessary support and guidance to the Board.
