FURTHER UPDATE ON BUSINESS RESCUE PROCEEDINGS OF BLACK CHROME MINE
PROPRIETARY LIMITED AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released on SENS on
13 June 2022 in which shareholders were advised that there were circumstances relating to
a material subsidiary of the Company which were being assessed, and the subsequent
announcement released on SENS on 14 June 2022 wherein shareholders were advised that
the board of a material subsidiary of the Company, Black Chrome Mine Proprietary Limited
(“Black Chrome Mine”), had voluntarily resolved to place Black Chrome Mine under
business rescue.

Shareholders are further referred to the announcement released on SENS on 26 July 2022
advising shareholders that the publication of the business rescue plan had been extended to
31 August 2022 following a meeting of creditors between the business rescue practitioner of
Black Chrome Mine and its creditors. The Company hereby advises shareholders that it has
been agreed that the publication of the business rescue plan has been further extended to
14 October 2022.

Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company’s securities until a further announcement has been made.
