TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”) and
Regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011, shareholders are advised that AOE has
received notification from:

   -   Brimstone Investment Corporation Limited (“Brimstone”) of the disposal by Brimstone of AOE
       “N” ordinary shares, such that Brimstone now holds 25.02% (Twenty Five point Zero Two percent)
       of AOE’s issued “N” ordinary shares;

   -   Lion of Africa Holdings Company (Pty) Ltd (“Lion of Africa Holdings”) (being a wholly owned
       subsidiary of Brimstone) of the acquisition of AOE “N” ordinary shares, such that Lion of Africa
       held 11.32% (Eleven point Three Two percent) of AOE’s issued “N” ordinary shares;

   -   Lion of Africa Holdings of the disposal by Lion of Africa Holdings of AOE “N” ordinary shares,
       such that Lion of Africa Holdings now holds 0% (Zero percent) of AOE’s issued “N” ordinary
       shares; and

   -   Lion of Africa Insurance Company Limited (“Lion of Africa”) (being a wholly owned subsidiary
       of Lion of Africa Holdings) of the acquisition of AOE “N” ordinary shares, such that Lion of Africa
       now holds 11.32% (Eleven point Three Two percent) of AOE’s issued “N” ordinary shares.
