APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN                               
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, 
RBA`s shareholders are hereby notified of the following change:                 
In the spirit of sound corporate governance and in line with the recommendations
of King III, the roles of chairman and chief executive officer have been        
separated. Leon Theron has been appointed as chairman and replaces David Wentzel
with effect from 23 March 2011. Leon has been an independent non-executive      
director of RBA since its listing in September 2007. David Wentzel will continue
to perform the role of chief executive officer.
