Further to the announcement made by the Company on Friday, 27 September
2024, Hammerson today confirms that 500,226,560 New Ordinary Shares of 5 pence
each have been admitted to trading and dealings commenced on the London
Stock Exchange and on Euronext Dublin at 8:00 a.m. (UK time) today, and listing
and trading of the New Ordinary Shares commenced on the JSE at 9:00 a.m. (South
African Standard Time) today.
Following Admission of the New Ordinary Shares, and in accordance with the
requirements of the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1A, the
Company hereby notifies the market that the Company's issued share capital as
at today, Monday, 30 September 2024, consists of 500,226,560 ordinary shares of 5
pence each, of which 1,300,825 shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total
number of voting rights in the Company as at today, Monday, 30 September 2024,
is 498,925,735. This figure should be used by Shareholders as the denominator for
calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest
in, or a change to their interest in, Hammerson Shares under the FCA's Disclosure
Guidance and Transparency Rules and/or the Irish Transparency (Directive
2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007, as amended.
