NOTICE IS GIVEN TO ALL HOLDERS OF CLN766 ZAR60,000,000 Senior
Unsecured Fixed Rate Credit Linked Notes due 31 January 2030
(Stock Code: CLN766 and ISIN Code: ZAG000179136) (the "Note")
issued in terms of The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited's
Structured   Note   Programme  dated   26   January  2021  (the
"Programme")) on 25 August 2021. Capitalised terms used and not
otherwise defined in this announcement have the meaning given to
them in the Pricing Supplement of the Note, as read with the
Programme Memorandum.


Noteholders are hereby advised that, in accordance with the
provisions of the Pricing Supplement of the Note at paragraph
57, the Issuer hereby confirms its decision to not exercise its
right to redeem the Notes on the next scheduled Optional
Redemption Date being 31 July 2024.


Notice is given to Noteholders for information purposes only.
No action is required by Noteholders.
