FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RESPECT OF THE SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Zeder shareholders (“Shareholders”) are referred to the announcements published on the JSE
Limited’s Stock Exchange News Service (“SENS”) on 25 July 2023 (Declaration Announcement)
and 8 August 2023 (Update Announcement), respectively, advising, inter alia, that the Company’s
board has approved and declared a non-recurring special gross dividend of 5.0 cents per Zeder share,
from income reserves ("Special Dividend"), subject to the required South African Reserve Bank
(“SARB”) approval being obtained for the declaration of the Special Dividend ("Condition").
The Company is pleased to announce that the required SARB approval for the declaration of the
Special Dividend has been obtained and that the Condition has therefore been fulfilled.
The revised salient dates and times applicable to the Special Dividend are as follows:
2023
Finalisation date Tuesday, 15 August
Last day to trade cum dividend Tuesday, 22 August
Trading ex-dividend commences Wednesday, 23 August
Record date Friday, 25 August
Date of payment Monday, 28 August
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 23 August 2023
and Friday, 25 August 2023, both days inclusive.
All other relevant information relating to the Special Dividend (including the tax implications), as set
out in the Declaration Announcement, remain unchanged.
