CHANGE IN AUDITOR
Old Mutual advises that the Audit committee has recommended, and it is the intention of the board to
approve, the proposed appointment of Ernst and Young Incorporated (“EY”) as the joint external auditor of
the Group with effect from the financial year ending 31 December 2022. The appointment is still subject to
approval by the Prudential Authority and shareholders of the Company.
EY will replace KPMG Incorporated (“KPMG”), who are required to rotate as joint auditors due to mandatory
audit firm rotation requirements. The financial year ending 31 December 2021 will be the final audit
conducted by KPMG.
