CHANGE OF DEBT SPONSOR

In terms of section 2.6(b) of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, noteholders are
advised that the 3-year appointment of Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking
(“NCIB”) as DBSA’s independent debt sponsor will be coming to an end on 31 December
2020. Furthermore, DBSA wishes to advise noteholders that, following a procurement
process initiated by DBSA due to NCIB’s three-year appointment coming to a conclusion,
the Bank has appointed Rand Merchant Bank, a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, to serve
as the Bank’s independent Debt Sponsor for a period of 3 years with effect from 1 January
2021.
