STEINHOFF INVESTMENT HOLDINGS LIMITED – Social and Ethics Committee

Steinhoff Investment Holdings Limited (the "Company") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steinhoff
International Holdings N.V.

In accordance with section 3.59(c) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that the following directors have been appointed to the Social and Ethics Committee of the Company:

1.   Alexandra Watson, an independent non-executive director (appointed as chairperson of the
     committee);
2.   Steve Booysen, an independent non-executive director; and
3.   Louis du Preez, an executive director.

The Social & Ethics Committee of Steinhoff Investment Holdings Limited has been established in
addition to the existing separate Governance, Social & Ethics Committee at Steinhoff International
Holdings N.V.

The above appointments are effective immediately.

Shareholders and other investors in the Company are advised to exercise caution when dealing in
the securities of the Group.
