Changes to the Board of Directors of Transnet SOC Ltd

Transnet SOC Ltd wishes to announce the appointment of the Interim Board of Directors.

The Chairman of the Interim Board is Popo Molefe.

The other Non-Executive Directors are: Louis von Zeuner
                                       Ramasela Ganda
                                       Ursula Fikelepi
                                       Edward Kieswetter
                                       Arlana Kinley; and
                                       Dimakatso Matshoga.

The Executive Directors are Siyabonga Gama who is the Group Chief Executive and
Mohammed Mahomedy who has been appointed the Interim Group Chief Financial Officer.
