Sanlam Group – Resignation and Appointment of Group Company Secretary
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that Mr Sana-Ullah Bray has resigned as Sanlam’s Group Company Secretary with effect
from 31 December 2022. He remains in the Group and has taken up the role of Group Executive:
Human Capital becoming a member to the Group Executive Committee with effect from 01 January
2023.
Shareholders are further advised that Ms Adela Fortune, who is currently Sanlam’s Deputy Company
Secretary, has been appointed to the position of Group Company Secretary, effective 01 January
2023. Adela’s career spans more than 20 years working in various senior legal, company secretary
and governance roles. She is a law graduate, a Fellow member and Certified Director of the IODSA.
The Board is satisfied that Adela has the expertise, knowledge, and expertise to take up the position
as Group Company Secretary.
The Sanlam Board wishes both Sana-Ullah and Adela success in their new roles.
