REVISED TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement
as soon as the board of directors is satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial
results for the period to be reported on next will vary by 20%
or more when compared to those of the corresponding prior
reporting period.

In a previous trading statement released on 29 November 2021,
the Company stated that it expected to report:

•   basic loss per share for the year ending 31 August 2021
    between 23.67 and 24.06 cents, compared to a profit per
    share of 1.93 cents reported on for the year ended 31
    August 2020; and

•   a headline loss per share for the year ending 31 August
    2021 between 22.68 and 22.87 cents, compared to headline
    earnings per share of 0.94 cents reported on for the year
    ended 31 August 2020.

The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of
certainty exists that it expects to report:

•   basic loss per share for the year ending 31 August 2021 of
    between 26.29 and 26.67 cents, compared to a profit per
    share of 1.93 cents reported on for the year ended 31
    August 2020; and
•   a headline loss per share for the year ending 31 August
    2021 between 25.30 and 25.48 cents, compared to headline
    earnings per share of 0.94 cents reported on for the year
    ended 31 August 2020.

The financial information on which this trading statement is
based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s
auditors.
