Notification of Change in Structure

Mercedes-Benz South Africa (“MBSA”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global company, Daimler
AG (“Daimler”). The group’s key operating companies are Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans, Daimler
Trucks and Buses Southern Africa, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and own retail arm, Sandown
Motor Holdings.

In a bid to strengthen the corporate structure of Daimler and allow the group to create the conditions
to unlock market potential and to optimally focus on the needs of our customers, Daimler Trucks and
Buses Southern Africa will operate as a legal entity wholly-owned by Mercedes-Benz South Africa Ltd.

The effective date for this change will be 1 January 2019.
