DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SASOL LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES (EDS) –
(“SOLIHI”)


The Directors of Sasol Limited have declared an interim gross cash dividend of 570 cents per ordinary share
payable on Monday, 15 April 2013 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday, 12 April 2013.

In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   Local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2)   No STC credits utilised;
3)   Net local dividend amount is 484,5 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and
     570 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax;
4)   The issued share capital of Sasol Limited is as follows as at the declaration date; 646,283,316 Sasol ordinary
     shares, 25,547,081 Sasol preferred ordinary shares and 2,838,565 Sasol BEE ordinary shares;
5)   Sasol Limited tax reference number 9520/018/60/8; and
6)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of SOLIHI will receive a Sasol Limited dividend amount per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 15 April 2013 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and
Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 5 April 2013.

SOLIHI Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 8 April 2013 and the record date will be Friday, 12 April 2013.
