TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, listed
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon they become reasonably certain
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the
previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that:
- The loss per share for the six months ended 31 August 2017 is expected to be (1.22) cents per
share, reflecting an improvement of 62%, when compared to the loss of (3.19) cents per share
reported for the prior six months ended 31 August 2016; and
- Headline loss per share for the six months ended 31 August 2017 is expected to be (1.22) cents
per share, reflecting an improvement of 63% when compared to the headline loss of (3.26) cents
per share reported for the prior six months ended 31 August 2016.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or audited
by the Company’s auditors, Grant Thornton. The Company expects its results for the six months ended
31 August 2017 to be released on SENS on 30 November 2017.
