CHANGES TO THE COMPANY SECRETARIAL FUNCTION

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of the Company (the Board) is pleased to notify shareholders that it has appointed CIS
Company Secretaries Proprietary Limited (CIS), a wholly owned subsidiary company of
Computershare Investor Services Proprietary Limited (Computershare) as its Company Secretary
with effect from 28 July 2023. The motivation for appointing CIS is the fortifying of the Company’s
governance structures, with particular emphasis on strengthening the independence of the
Company Secretarial function from the Board.

Computershare is part of the global Computershare group of companies. In South Africa it holds
a level 1 BBBEE status. Being part of a global group means that Computershare and CIS have the
scale to maintain robust compliance, audit, risk, financial crime, disaster recovery and business
continuity planning programs.

The current Company Secretary, Ms Rokeya Hansa, has tendered her resignation. The Company
wishes to thank Ms Hansa for her service as Company Secretary and wishes her well for the future.
