NOTIFICATION OF AN EXPECTED DELAY IN THE AVAILABILITY AND PUBLICATION OF THE
COMPANY’S ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2020
Bondholders of SANRAL (“Bondholders”) are referred to (i) the directive issued by the National
Treasury of South Africa dated 10 June 2020 (“Directive”); and (ii) the JSE Limited’s general
announcement published on SENS on 3 April 2020 regarding the market notice issued by the Financial
Sector Conduct Authority on 3 April 2020 (“Market Notice”), in respect of an extension afforded to
certain entities pertaining to the financial reporting timeframes referred to in, inter alia, the JSE Debt
Listings Requirements, as a result of the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the financial
reporting and audit processes of issuers.
Bondholders are hereby advised that SANRAL will be placing reliance on the Directive and the Market
Notice and the extension afforded therein as it is expected that the publication of the annual financial
statements of the Company for the year ended 31 March 2020, which will be incorporated in the
Integrated Report 2020, will be delayed.
It is anticipated that the Integrated Report 2020 will be made available for inspection at the Company’s
offices and published on the Company’s website on 30 November 2020.
