Update on AFD Waiver and Banking facilities Approval
Noteholders are referred to the SENS released on 18 June 2020, in which
the Company advised Noteholders that L'AGENCE FRANCAISE DE DEVELOPPEMENT
(AFD) in its capacity as a lender has, given the extraordinary context
of COVID-19, granted Airports Company South Africa a grace period until
31 December 2022. An error regarding the end of the grace period was
included in the letter from AFD to ACSA. The correct grace period related
to the projected ratios will end on 30 June 2022 in line with the Waiver
Request and not on 31 December 2022.
Furthermore, in an effort to bolster its liquidity profile, the company
is pleased to confirm the approvals of the extension and increase of its
banking facilities from R1.5 billion to R3 billion for a period of 12
months which comprises of R1 billion each from Nedbank Limited,
FirstRand Bank Limited and Standard Bank of South Africa Limited. The
terms and conditions thereof will be incorporated in the Facility
Agreements to be concluded between the company and the aforementioned
banks.
