MOMENTUM METROPOLITAN HOLDINGS FINALISES THE ACQUISITION OF THE
ALEXANDER FORBES SHORT-TERM INSURANCE BUSINESS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Security holders are referred to the SENS announcement released on 25 July 2019, titled
“MOMMET - Proposed acquisition of AFI business” and are hereby advised that Momentum
Metropolitan Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Momentum Metropolitan Strategic
Investments (Proprietary) Limited, has completed its acquisition of the Alexander Forbes Short-term
Insurance business directly held through Alexander Forbes Limited ("Seller"), an indirect subsidiary
of Alexander Forbes Group Holdings Limited, an entity listed on the JSE Limited ("the
Transaction").

This notification confirms that all suspensive conditions for the Transaction have been fulfilled and
the purchase consideration for the Transaction will be transferred to the Seller on Friday, 31
January 2020.
