Shareholders are advised that Resgen submitted to the Companies Announcements Office of the
Australian Securities Exchange, its Notice of Annual General Meeting to be held at 10.00am
(Brisbane time) on 23 November 2016 at the Minter Ellison Offices, Level 22, Waterfront Place, 1
Eagle Street, Brisbane, Qld 4000 and which has been despatched to Australian shareholders and
is being despatched to South African shareholders on 20 October 2016.

Resource Generation Limited (the “Company”) is developing its Boikarabelo Coal Mine in the
Waterberg region of South Africa. This region accounts for 40% of the country’s remaining
identified coal resources. The Company is currently updating the Probable Coal Reserves for the
Boikarabelo Coal Mine (previously disclosed to the market in December 2010) as a result of
completing a new mine plan and execution strategy.
