APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR
Noteholders are referred to the Stock Exchange New Service ("SENS") announcement published on
01 Augus 2023, wherein Noteholders were informed that Dr Nimrod Zaik stepped down as shareholder
representative on the Board of the IDC with effect from 31 July 2023.
In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, Noteholders are advised
of the appointment of Ms. Susan Mangole as shareholder representative on the Board of the IDC, with
effect from 01 June 2024.
Ms. Mangole currently holds the position of Acting Deputy Director-General for the Incentives Branch as
well as the Transformation and Competition Policy Branch at the Department of Trade, Industry, and
Competition (dtic). With over 22 years of experience in various leadership roles, she is an accomplished
executive.
Additionally, she serves as a board member of the Richards Bay Industrial Zone and the Tshwane
Automotive Special Economic Zone. Ms. Mangole also fulfills roles in various decision-making committees
of the IDC and National Empowerment Fund (NEF).
She holds a Master's in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Henley
Business School and Public Finance Management from Havard University, John F Kennedy School of
Government. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Digital Transformation at University
of Johannesburg, Johannesburg Business School.
The Board welcomes Ms. Susan Mangole and looks forward to her contribution to the IDC.
