CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT: 2023 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TIME
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement published by the Company on
31 May 2023 (“Announcement”), in terms of which shareholders were advised that the
Company had distributed its integrated report, no change statement and notice of annual
general meeting (“Notice of AGM”).
Further to the publication of the Announcement and the distribution of the Notice of AGM, it
has come to the attention of the Company that the time of Spear’s annual general meeting
(“AGM”), as contained in the Announcement, was erroneously stated as “Friday,
30 June 2023 at 11:00” instead of “Friday, 30 June 2023 at 09:00”.
For the avoidance of doubt, the details of the AGM as stated in the Notice of AGM are correct
and are restated below:
Notice is hereby given that the AGM of Spear will be held on Friday, 30 June 2023 at
09:00, at Spear’s Head Office, 16th Floor, 2 Long Street, Cape Town to transact the
business as set out in the Notice of AGM as contained in the link
https://spearprop.co.za/pdf/integrated-reports/FY2023-AGM-notice.pdf
The date on which shareholders must be recorded as such in the share register to be eligible
to attend and vote at the AGM is Friday, 23 June 2023, with the last day to trade being
Tuesday, 20 June 2023.
