TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon
as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ
by more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2022 by
management has indicated that:

-   basic loss per share (“LPS”) is expected to be between cents 5.10 and 5.24 cents, reflecting an
    improvement in the loss compared to the LPS of 188.38 cents for the six months ended
    30 September 2021; and

-   headline loss per share (“HLPS”) is expected to be between 5.25 cents and 5.36 cents, reflecting
    an improvement in the loss compared to the HLPS of 132.25 cents for the six months ended
    30 September 2021.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by the Company’s auditors. Sebata’s financial results are expected to be released on SENS on or
about 12 December 2022.
